Command & Conquer 3
My official count down has started for this game and boy I can't wait. Everything I loved about Tiberian Sun is back and updated. Hell, even the cheesy live-action cut scenes are back which will feature the ever so popular Joseph D. Kucan as Kane and another actor from the star wars movies. I think what makes command and conquer so bad ass is the story is a little more in-depth then some strategy games out there. I dont know about anyone else but I will be playing this online a lot. The only problem is I always lose and get told by twelve year old kids that I'm a noob, or wtf ever, even though I have been playing the series since the first one..... Oh well cruel fate as it is.

If you like strategy games with deep stories I recommend warhammer 40000: dawn of war and the expansions. I liked tiberian sun alot. But generals didnt really appeal to me very much. Maybe a bit too realistic. But yeah its good to hear theyre going on with the original gdi vs nod story.

is this game online only or is there a story mode to it kinda thing? if so I'll totally check it out...loves me some strategy games :)

It has both single player campaigns and multiplayer online or over a LAN connection. In the online they are also going to have it so you can commentate on other player’s games and draw arrows and shit like your freakin' John Madden. Yea they are going back to GDI Vs. NOD but they are changing some things about the story and I hope it works out and finally the Scrin will be a playable team.

I bought this game saturday and I must say its pretty good. It seems they combined an element from dawn of war with the original C&C system: Infantry moves in squads now. Yep, Scrin is playable but they dont seem to have a campaign. I still have to get used to the system after playing dawn of war so i havent played them alot. NOD seems to be alot like the GLA. Quick vehicles and alot of stealth for guerilla tactics while GDI is heavily armed but expensive. Ive only played GDI so far in the campaign. I gotta say its pretty difficult, them NOD are on me like a rash, not giving me time to build a proper mammoth tank army ><
