Are we referring to FPS? Or just any weapon from any game? I'm partial to shotguns and revolvers when it comes to guns. Spears and katanas when it comes to bladed weapons.

The ultimate weapon...Sephiroth's Masamune

Well... In a high tech world of jumping and dodging like Quake-3 I usually prefer the Rocket Launcher. I like the adrenalin. In Modernised game like COD or Rainbow-6, I prefer the Sniper (I am a camper whore). Medival games I choose a Shortsword and a dagger in offhand (Rogues 4tw).

I actually used to know someone who MADe swords and said that if I paid for the materials they would make me the sword as close to it as they possibly could (and this guy sold like $1000+ swords to people at Ren fairs and stuff...said he was always interested in making Japanese (katana's and the like) swords even though thats not how he made his living.

There's Plenty of Adrenaline in games like Quake 3. And trust me, the Rocket Launcher is more of a RPG in that game. The best tactic is to get close (but not inside the blast radius) and aim the rocket at the ground next to him. Also, just spraying the area he's in with rockets helps.

And trust me, the Rocket Launcher is more of a RPG in that game. Can you spot the mistake? :D I'll have to put those sorts of things in my posts from now on. :D Mistake? Um... are you talking about when I said RPG? Because RPG means Rocket-propelled-grenade.

heh...thanks for clearin that one up...I thought you were saying Rocket Launchers were good in role playing games :P When it comes to shooters...out of the very few I've played I'd have to say the BFG9000 from doom 2 Brilliant weapon! :)

For me, Im usually partial to Katanas or Longswords. I always enjoy up close and personal to long distance anyway. Heh Heh Heh. But I do have to make special mention of the weapons 'Plastic Bag', 'Baseball Bat' and 'Crowbar' in the Manhunter Game, especially if you stalk your victim long enough, the attacks are quite violent and bloody. Even though it gets repetitive very quickly. I really enjoyed these for awhile. lol

Sniping in COD2 is a peach. Especially when you know every nook and corner of the map. Ever tried Ghost Recon? Sniper wars in that game can take days I tell you...

unlimited sub machine gun in re2. ah bliss. id love to be a sniper, just for someone to ask what i do an i say sniper straight away like it was nothin, just like that.
