I finished FF12 some time ago. But I havent gotten full completion yet. My chars were around lvl 58. Im gonna try playing it some more soon. Even if its just to continue giving chase to Gilgamesh. That first fight with him was so cool!

On my last playthrough, I got all but one of the espers and all but one of the Marks. And I think my characters were up to level 80+. I really need to get away from FF for a while...

Tried to give FF XII another shot. I will just have to admit that I truly do not like the game. It moves me nil. I am not just being grumpy either, because I still love FF 6,7,8, & 10. I would play them in a heartbeat. The problem is that I have played them to death and I am jonesing for something else.

I think I'm kinda on the same plane you are there Cowboy...12 just didnt get to me like the others did...I'll eventually finish it...I've got a game save sitting pretty damn near the end of the game with some of the sidequests done and characters areound level 50 or so...one day I'll just pick it back up and say screw the story and just beat it from where I left it :P

I have to admit, the story is fairly crap. Well, by FF standards, anyway. But in my opinion, the battle system more than makes up for it. And I really thought I'd never say that because I hated it with a passion, at first! :P

okay....so I had finally decided about a week ago that when I really wasnt feeling up to playing WoW I would pick this game up and bang out the rest of the side quests and finally beat the thing... found the GREATEST THING EVER today!!!! Gambit: Self-->Bubble Gambit: Self-->haste chunk those two at the bottom of your gambit list and every 2-3 minutes or so of running around you stop and cast haste and bubble which takes like 2 seconds honestly so basically you double your health on all party members for all intensive purposes permanently.....so much easier to level now :)

Bubble is the shit! :P Where are you at in the game? One thing that was different for me with this game, compared to the others is that I NEVER used offensive magic. EVER. God, why did you have to bring this thread back to life? I may have to play it again, now...

Level 50-55 is enough to finish the game with. But offcourse you need much higher to beat square's habit of overpowered optional bosses. One note though: Gilgamesh is the coolest optional boss ever!

yeah I'll probably do it the right way and do all the extra stuff...and yeah I havent used offensive magic as of yet...of course...I have a habit of avoiding it anyway...FF8? NEVER used magic :P but yeah I am heading back to balfonheim after Giruvegan...of course I've taken this time to do some hunts and what not...I dont plan on moving on with the story until I'm all caught up on hunts and I go to that necrohol place to get the zodiac spear or whatever it is.
