Letters, unsent
Ok, here you can write letters to people, things, whatever. They can be serious, funny, or both, and you don't have to mention names. Call it therapy. :P Dear W, You can leave my house anytime you wish. Preferrably now. And preferrably back down the toilet, rather than through the front door. S.

Dear President Bush, If you truly wish there to be peace in the Middle East, then do not blindly support Israel's every decision. Demand that the Israelis withdraw from all land taken since 1967, in accordance with United Nations Security Resolutions 242 and 338. Until these demands are met, the United States should not give Israel more weapons and money. Then, and only then, can a true peace plan be sought. In addition, the government should not give more credence to the American Israeli Political Action Committe(AIPAC) and other pro-Israeli groups than groups on the Muslim/Arab side. Each group should receive the same treatment. To listen only to AIPAC and the powerful Israel lobby would be to further alienate our moderate Arab and Muslim allies, with whom our relationship is already strained. Furthermore, the United States Government must aggressively pursue those that deliberately target civilians and/or civilian targets, such as shopping centers and holy shrines. It does not matter whether these targets are Jewish or Arab and Muslim. Militant Jews, Arabs, and Muslims seek to undermine peace efforts by Israeli Government officials, as well as those of Egypt and other Arab and Muslim countries. The US Government must actively seek these parties out, and cut off their aid. Finally, the United States Government must stop Israel's theft of choice Palestinian land, and demand that Jewish settlements built on internationally recognized Palestinian land be demolished, and the land returned to the Palestinian people. The so called "security wall" that Israel has built must also come down, as it is on Palestinian land, and not Israel proper. When these objectives are completed, an international group must be formed to hammer out a conclusive peace plan with Israel, and Arab and Muslim countries. This group must be observed by United Nations observers, in order to ensure that the involved parties do not get too much or too little. This plan will take some time. But the end result looks far more promising than what is being observed today. Sincerely, Sean

Dear Prime Minister Olmert, How dare you label every Palestinian that fires on Israeli troops that are present only to steal land and murder Palestinians who also foght to retain their land terrorists! Have you ever thought that just maybe people do not like having their land stolen, their people murdered, and living in sub-par conditions, while the oppressor lives in luxury? Palestinians have to struggle every day to get enough water to sustain what little land and animals remains, all due to your government stealing their land, especially land with fertile grounds and an abundance of water. Human rights violations are quite obviously present, and you do nothing to stop it. Even human rights groups in your own country have stated their disdain for the sub-human treatment of the indigenous people of the land you steal every day. Until the Israeli government gives back every square foot of land stolen from the Palestinian people through acts of aggression, wait strike that, terrorism, this American will not support neither you, nor your actions. I will support true peace in the region, but I shall always consider you a terrorist at large. Do something substantial, and not speak words that sound hollow, and maybe my opinion of you will change. Sincerely, Sean, an American loyal to the Palestinian cause

This group must be observed by United Nations observers, in order to ensure that the involved parties do not get too much or too little. This plan will take some time. But the end result looks far more promising than what is being observed today. Sincerely, Sean I hope this helps you to understand how some, such as President Bush, base their decisions. You see, it isn't merely to hurt or punish, or take away from some and give to others. It will, if you are not Christian however, probably give you further reason as to why you don't think the Jewish people deserve this land. You see, there is no "Palestine people" and there is no "Palestine." The lands that today constitute the State of Israel, Judea, Samaria (the West Bank), Gaza and the Golan are parts of Israel, the sole land of the Jews. The Jewish claim to the Land of Israel is not an ordinary nationalist one. It is NOT merely derived from the fact that ONCE Jews were sovereign there, were the majority, ruled the land under their own government and that never was the land empty of Jews. All this is true but this is not the main claim of the Jewish people. Jewish refusal to give up lands is sometimes based on the logical and self evident fact that to give up lands to a people that has constantly threatened to destroy you is sheer madness, and that Jews dare not trust to their kindly intentions in the future. This too, is true, but again, it is not the reason for Jews remaining on the lands liberated after June, 1967. The fundamental and REAL Jewish claim to The Land of Israel is based on the fact that there is a Divine grant of the land to the Jewish people, and that God gave the Holy Land to the Jewish people in order that it be holy and create a holy society therein. No other arguments - Jewish or Arab - have any relevance to the essential fact that the One who created the entire world and who possesses it, has the power and the right to give it to whomever he chooses and this is what was done more than 3,000 years ago at the time of Moses and Joshua. This is what remains inalienable right today. The Land of Israel in its Biblical boundaries is the Divine decree to the Jewish people, it belongs to the Jewish people in its entirety and no alien trespass has any merit or chance of success. There can be no "Palestine", a name that was invented by the Romans to symbolize the end of the Jewish people, for that would be to diminish and to force back the miracle of God and to go against the Divine era of redemption. There can be no "Palestine" for if there is, then there is no Israel.
