Mosquitoes finally charted!
Our band finally hit #50 on the top 50 on the Texas Music Charts. That includes every style of music from rock to rap. I just found out about it on Sunday. The new cd released on Jan. 18th of this year, so I am rather happy about it making some headway this quickly. Below is a little peak at the chart:

To make things even better, we are now for sale internationally. That means just about anywhere online including WalMart, Hastings, Best Buy, MTV Downloads, iTunes, etc. It's so bitter sweet. All of the tradeoffs and bullshit people I have had to deal with have hardly made any of this worth it. But I will take what I can get right now. Many of the bands we know and play with travel to Europe often to support their cd's. The weird sort of country that we play seems to go over well in Germany. I found radio stations in Germany, France, and Japan that are playing our songs. My Mum-in-law in England has been requesting us on local radio there as well. Damn! We are at #41 this week! I don't want you guys the think that I am bragging. I am just surprised and excited. The band has worked so hard to get somewhere and it is finally showing.

Hmmm... we hit #31 this week. I hope this thing keeps going strong. :)

What do you mean you don't even like it?! What I mean is that I don't dig what we do at all. It's not really my style of music. I just took the job to pay bills and to have some fun, but it turned into a monster and started going somewhere. Now, just as I am contemplating leaving this band, it is starting to move up in the charts and get played all over the radio. :D
