My Axes
Here are a few of my guitars that I have at home. I have a couple more but they are in the band trailer. I am very proud of them. 1. Telecaster: This is a hand made Tele from the genius of Brent Smith. Brent is a fiddle player that I used to be in a band with. He now makes guitars and fiddles for many top names in the music business. This Tele is loaded with Joe Barden vintage '56 pickups and I custom wired it to meet my specs. I also added a B-Bender, a G-Bender, and a Drop D Lever. This is my main stage guitar. We have been to hell and back over the last 10 years together. 2. Gibson Les Paul Custom: This is a 1981 Custom Silverburst Les Paul with a Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon pickup in the bridge. Need I say more? This guitar is a metal head's wet dream. I have played the shit out of this one over the last 22 years. 3. Dean M7 (7 String): Yep, this is the one I use to play all of the detuned heavy stuff. Korn, Meshugga, Pantera, etc. It's all stock but it sounds like it was forged by Satan himself. I love it! 4. This is a crappy Tele knockoff that my band leader purchased so that I could strip it and turn it into a baritone Tele. The neck it sitting beside it and is marked number 5. I'll be tuning the baritone to a low A instead of the standard C# tuning. This one is great for all of that old spaghetti Western stuff from the 1960's. However, it also will be fine for stuff like Staind. Very versatile.
