I've noticed that fairly near the end of the game, you encounter villagers wearing gasmasks. I refer to them as "Morrinns" lol. :P Hehehe 8)

I finally got around to playing this. I beat it, the two Ada scenarios, unlocked most of the characters in Mercenaries (All save Krauser) and I'm about halfway through a second playthrough. The only problem I have with it, and **SPOLIERS ARE ABOUND!** Did anyone else think it seemed really contrived when Leon met face to face with Ada? He mentions her affiliation with Wesker as though it's something that the players should have known about all along. It seemed like laziness and a lack of desire to really explain anything on behalf of the game designers. It irritated me to no end.

Yes me too, we could have used alot of backround info. I never really thought about this until you guys brought it up. I have played all of the other games (RE2 being my favorite) so much that I never even thought that those who have not, may not know what in the hell is going on. Do you mean the story line is more understandable if you play the other games? If so I played most of them but still didnt really understand. I was expecting leon to shout "your alive!" when ada showed up. I missed out on zero and that other one i forget its name. :P

I beat it's not that hard. It's not that hard if you can actually aim worth a shit - which I can't! :P But seriously, RE4 has to be one of the more stressful games I've ever played...

When i finished the game i had around 40 continues. I wonder do you get anything special if you dont continue at all. Its just a pain in the ass reloading a game the whole time. Well its not but im still too lazy to do it.

I have no idea whether continuing counts against you or not. I'll have to go see if I can find out. :D

I will attempt RE4 with knife only... this weekend. The professional mode isn't hard enough so I figured that I could take the normal mode with the knife (except parts where I have to use a handgun to activate things and whatnot).

I still haven't beat this yet - though I haven't played for a couple of weeks. I'm having problems with... *** Possible Spoilers!!!!!!!!!!*** the Ramon Salazar boss. I know what to do, and I can dodge the arm fine, and I've got plenty of rifle ammo. I just waste half of it I just can't fucking aim! Especially since he won't keep his bloody eye still!!!! :evil:

Same here. Luckily, the only thing that saved me was that I had saved all of my Magnum rounds from the whole game and my last four shots got me through it. Now, I just Chicago Typewritter my way out of any harsh situation.

Ok I know its a brilliant game but I think its a brilliant action game. I can honestly say I wasnt scared at all throughout except once when in the sewers with the bug things, otherwise a bit tense sometimes but not as scared as other re's. I just feel like sayin it because some people say its scary. RE2 was scary, this wasnt. Dont get mad now, I'd still give it bout 9.4 ou a ten.
