Mine was Silent Hill, and it was recommended to me by CFH.
When he first told me about it, I was like, "yeah, how scary can a game be?".
I found out, lol. :shock:

First Game My first game was Silent Hill too.. When i play it in my first time.. I cannot take the Controller because of this Shit!! (ooopppsss) Excuse Me, Because of this Enemies.. I was Scream a lot when i was in the Chain-or-Metal-Something-Floor... were i was going to defeat the final boss.. OMG!!

I think it was Resident Evil. Might have been Resident Evil 2 or the PSX Clock Tower, though. I can tell you that I was a fan of the genre when Silent Hill came out though, I remember rushing out to buy it the day it was released.

The game is still kinda spookey. The poor graphics just make it scarier.

Well, the first one I'd ever seen was Silent Hill (I watched someone play it, but didn't actually play it until much later). The first one that I actually played, though, was RE: CVX.

I bought a few used PSX games from Blockbuster once... They used to give you the case for the game, but give you the actual game in a clear, plastic case (At least at my local blockbuster).
So, I ended up using those plastic cases for games that came in the "long, ugly boxes".

Everyone's first survival horror game was Silent Hill......which I hadn't even heard of until I got into Resident Evil......I feel like such a loser right now......I'm always the last one to find out about things.......unless my Trent persona kicks in, which it rarely does. But besides that, I'm as lost as a puppy.........
This makes me feel old. And im not.

my first experience was resident evil 2 when it first came out. i was only a wee chap if i remember correctly, it scared the crap ou a me, couldnt sleep prop for a while

When I was 5... I saw my uncle playing RE2. I asked him if I could play, he was using Claire A story fighting William Birkin's dog form. I tried it, beat him, and I was hooked.
That was one of my FIRST video games I've ever played at that time other then Sonic.
