What's your favorite classic Resident Evil game? - Sour_Jr - 02-20-2024
Hey, fellers.
What's your fav. resident evil game from the original series (RE 1-6)? I would have to say my best fav. was the first original one.
But i haven't played them all yet, only ones i played and beat in the past was:
Resident evil - original and Gamecube remake
resident evil 2, 3, Code Veronica.
Sadly i have owned RE 4 for years and still haven't gotten around to playing it all the way thru.
But a couple weeks ago i bought most of the resident evils, as i plan to play thru them all starting at the beginning.

My favorite is Resident Evil 2 and is closely followed by the original. But is it hard to say really because I love 1,2,3, and CVX so much. They all have their individual characteristics that make them so freaking good. And I have to say that RE4 was the end of RE for me. I thought it was good for a shooter, but terrible for an RE game. You lost me Crapcom.

Either 2 or REmake I think!! 2 was just so awesome, looked amazing at the time as well. REmake is brilliant as well though so I can't choose.

aha, i played a lil bit of resident evil original this morning, and i forgot how bad the graphics for the characters are.
"dont open that door" aahahaaa, this game is awesome, i think last time i played this was 10 years ago.
I'm hopein Res.2 will be just as comical, as i dont remember it much either, cept i remember the big crocodile that you blow up.

At the time the graphics were classed as amazing, looking back now it does look bad but the games are still brilliant and it never fails to make me jump every now and again! I remember the first time those dogs dived through the window... hahaha. And you could always play the REmake on GCN if you have trouble with the graphics!
I'm with you on the dialogue though!! "You were almost a Jill sandwich!!"

Hey, do you guys like that old mansion in resident evil 1 original? Im really enjoying exploring it, with the ugly color's of the walls looks great and creepy.
I wish i lived in a place like this, i'd be scared witless everyday.
P.s. yana, is that a pic. of Jill Valentine, The master of unlocking in your avatar?
Right now iam playing as Jill, the master of unlocking for my first playthru, next i'll play chris redfield's part but only that time on the DS version.
Just got past the Giant snake part with jillian.

i really can't decide between REmake, 2, 3 & 4
RE4 wasn't as good as the first three, but still had a great atmosphere in it.
