How to get the Rebirth ending? - hazard04 - 03-01-2024
Since this doesn't have a help section. Or if I did then I'm sorry I didn't see it but I think I know why I have not be able to get the Rebirth ending. I remember someone told me that in order to get the Rebirth Ending I need to start an Extra New game, well for me Extra New Game isn't selected nor does it even appear. BTW, I have it for Xbox.
Also if I can add, ON Silent Hill 3 for PC I cannot get the extra scenes like with the toilet in the women's restroom. Do i need to have Silent Hill 2 for pc too?
Any help will be appreciated.

does it work that way? I thought the extra scenes in V.3 were only if you had V2 data on your memory card... ps2. However I've never researched this so my post is completely useless to your cause

PC Silent Hill 3 does not have those extra scenes whatsoever, I have PC as well. With SH2, you need to have saved when it offered you the option to save after the game was over. If you didn't, then replay from you closest save to the end and beat the game then save this time around. Also, you'll need to have saved all games necessary to get rebirth ending to this same file in this same manner so the file contains a record of all you completed endings in one save.

So far as i can remember, I got the Maria Ending, In Water, Mary, and i think that is it. What is the other ending? Because when i check the statistics, it says i have 3 out of 4 endings.

Rebirth.
In order to get the Rebirth ending you have to have beaten the game once. Then you need to collect the White Chrism (found in the apartments) the book of Lost Memories (found in a newsstand in the streets) The Obsidian Goblet (found in the Historical Society) and the Book of the Crimson Ceremony (found in the hotel room where you find the headphones.)

The newsstand with the Book of Lost Memories is in front of the Texaco Station on the corner across from the bowling alley, same station where you get the pipe out of the car's engine.

It isn't a guest hotel room, but rather the reading room with all the pamphlets and such. Not sure when it is in there, think it is after everything turns to burned and drippy. I would check it in both worlds. Listening to the recording affects and ending too.
