Pizza...
#1
So, I've finally gotten my boyfriend to give SH a chance. He's starting with 2.
But what he wants to know is why there's an apartment building full of pop-tart-less kitchens, but somehow Eddie finds a pizza.

I suggested it was subconscious. James was all "DAMN that's one fat bastard, all the slob needs is a pizza." and LO!

It wasn't delivery, either. It was Digiorno!

I think the most reasonable theory for the pizza is that Laura probably ordered it. To her there are no monsters, fog, or anything unusual about the town at all and she might have ordered it from another local town.

I didn't give it much thought. I just assumed it be another illusion as, arguably, everything else in town is. Sounds alot like a situation where you are watching a movie and someone asks about the validity of the least important plot point.

"Ash could never run a chainsaw from his bloody stump of an arm!"
"But you were cool with the zombies, rapist trees and possessed hand?"

I have always wondered that. Seriously, you know when James meets her on his way to the park? And he says"What's a little girl like you doing here by yourself"?(Or something similar), and she says "are you blind or something?", as if she really isn't by herself, but there are indeed people all around, but James is only visible to her and the others, but not by the other people.

But yeah, sort of strayed a little, but maybe, Eddie actually ordered it, even though it looks as if the place is deserted.

I wondered the exact same thing, I always figured it was because he saw Eddie as a fat slob and would therefore assume he needed food. Its kinda like why is Jasper addicted to chocolate milk in SH4?

There's food everywhere Eddie goes. It's one of the themes of his perception, just as decay and lonliness are the themes of James's perception.
