Heather's outfits
#11
I like the one that just says "Silent Hill". It's a game shirt from SH1, then she is making OUR connection feelings to the game rather than her OWN feelings. She is just a fan.

I was playing 3 a while ago w/ heather wearing the SH t-shirt and when in game one sees Harry die, I made a stronger connection to the first game with that reminder and it really depressed me that he was dead. Does anyone else, when they play, try to put themselves into the characters shoes? I know of folks that don't, that see it as more of watching a movie, totally seperate from themselves. Is that odd or is how I play more odd?

One of the drawing powers of the games is how it puts you into the character.

You are so immersed into the the experience that you feel what the protagonist feels. This is no more true than with V.2 and James.

When Pyramid Head kills Maria in the hall, you in life slump down and go "crap!" just as James does.

When Laura kicks the key in the apartments, you scream, "hey!" just as he does.

Team Silent tugs on the strings of your mind and heart so well that YOU are the protagonist.

I fully agree with Spider except for the thing about Maria: I never trusted her. The only time I really cringed and totally felt James's pain is when she is executed by the Pyramid Head Duo near the end. Then again that whole scene (with James declaring his sin and the music playing in the background) is one of the best SH scenes of all time.
"When I find her, I'll kill her myself."
