Yeah, I tend to agree there, this is assuming the doctrine is true. Many an evil force sets itself up with a catchy belief structure. People will believe absolutly any garbage, as long as someone sets it up nice, because most folks WANT so bad to belong. When it comes to the supernatural you're either good or bad inherently without change, I've never seen anything myself to the contrary. I look at it more from the point of anything demonic being inherently evil. There can be no paradise through malignant power idea.

Remember too that the God is influenced by the Vessel's surroundings. Both Alessa and Heather were made to suffer in some way, another reason as to why the God had to be destroyed both times.
