I agree with mypaku's theory. They were trying to summon God in the first place. He didn't just show up in Alessa. I like the parallel between Rosemary's Baby as well. Well done ^^
And I think there is a very good chance of that, but I doubt it has anything to do with the games. Kauffman wasn't the most outstanding citizen. He only did the right thing in the end because he was pissed at being used~
