Which Silent Hill 4 ending is the true ending?

Counting all the games, there is only one that we know the "correct" ending to, and that is V1. So thus far happy endings are ahead 1-0.

For V4, "Mother" will probably end up the official ending I think, I'd rather that not be the case, but it seems to fit best with the series, none of the female interests live.
