The black ghost baby

Okay... it has been a long time since i have played SH1,But i distinctly remember what looked like a black ghost baby that walked around and fell over and made a strange suaking noise.

does anyone know what or why this little guy was in the game?
what significance did it hold. was it part of the plot?

About that website, I don't know if I see a different website from everyone else, but I can find very little info there, and everything seems poorly constructed and organized. Am I going to the right place? Everyone seems to speak of it and this really great place with lots of organized info and articles but I don't see it. I await your link, perhaps I am at the wrong place.

The very few scans of Lost Memories that are available in English round the net said that the Larval Stalker's "laughter evokes memories of being teased at school."

I never heard it laugh; it only made little noises, but it did run about and fall all over the place... which could be a metaphor of, well, being teased at school.

Cute, little thing... I felt sorry for it.

Anyway, Spider will give us much more information.

Yeah but it's cousin which I don't see much of a difference between the two, can really kick your butt. Now, what IS the difference between the two, anyone know? Why is there a harmful version? Larval suggests the harmless one is an early stage of development for something else.

I've got a theory that the larval stalkers actually grow into the midget trolls. After you get the gold medallion, and exit, 2 midgets attack you which werent there before, and as far as I know, the larvals disappear.

Perhaps the poor child being teased so badly that it finally goes over the edge and brings a gun to school one day?
